Manchester United vs Manchester City takes place on Sunday in the English Premier League in a derby clash that both sides will be desperate to win. The game is scheduled to start at 8.30 a.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

First play second in this intriguing match up, with both Manchester clubs looking to get the upper hand in the race for the Premier League title.

United are currently top in the EPL with 36 points from their 15 games, where as City are second with 33 points after 15 games. If City can win today at the Etihad Stadium they would leapfrog United into first place on goal difference.

David Silva could be returning for City following his hamstring injury after missing the midweek Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund. James Milner and Gael Clichy are also expected to be available.

If United are to win away to their bitter rivals they will surely have to tighten things up at the back. City will not make it easy for United to score too many, and so far of the top 12 teams in the EPL only Tottenham have conceded more goals than United. Spurs have conceded 23 where as United have conceded 21 goals. It is only thanks to United's fearful strike force that they are top of the league right now.

Some pundits have suggested that with City being eliminated early on in the Champions League they will now be able to fully focus their thoughts on retaining their EPL title.

Looking at the history between the two teams United have won 17 of their 30 EPL games against one another, with City winning seven, and there being six draws.

As for the managers, head to head, Sir Alex Ferguson has won five of 10 games against Roberto Mancini, where as the Italian has won four, with one draw between the pair.

The past two EPL meetings between these two teams were both won by City, however, showing how the tides are beginning to change in Manchester. City will be looking to make that three straight wins against their great rivals today.
