Manchester United vs West Ham takes place in the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon, in an all-English Premier tie, which many are calling the tie of the round. The game will start at 12.15 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

West Ham and Man Utd have a fierce rivalry between them. Even though Manchester Utd are clearly the larger and more established outfit, West Ham have often managed to spring a surprise on their northern rivals when the games are played in East London at Upton Park.

When looking at the history between the two teams the results are surprisingly close; out of 123 competitive matches between West Ham and Man Utd, the Manchester side have won 57, with West Ham winning 42, and there have been 24 draws.

However, the more recent history between the teams falls very much on the Manchester side, with Man Utd taking eight of the last nine games between them. Just on November in the English Premier League Manchester beat West Ham 1-0 at Old Trafford thanks to a solitary goal by Robin van Persie in the first minute of the game.

But when it comes to cup games anything can happen, as it did in November 2010 in the Carling Cup, when West Ham out of nowhere demolished their northern rivals in an overwhelming 4-0 victory.

And when looking specifically at the history in the FA Cup West Ham in fact have a better record in head to head meetings. Out of 7 games between the two teams in the FA Cup, West Ham have won 4 compared to Manchester United's three.

For today's game West Ham captain Kevin Nolan and defender James Collins will return after completing their suspensions. However, defender Joey O'Brien (hamstring) will be out, and influential striker Andy Carroll is also sidelined with a knee injury.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will welcome back defenders Phil Jones and Nemanja Vidic for the trip, but Wayne Rooney has been ruled out with a knee injury and Nani i still out with a hamstring injury despite already returning to training.
