Marie Osmond's Daughter, Rachel Blosil, Weds

Marie Osmond's daughter, Rachel Blosil, has married fashion designer, Gabriel Krueger, over the holiday season.

Blosil, whose father is Osmond's former husband Brian Blosil, exchanged vows on Christmas Day, according to several reports.

"I have never seen Rachel look happier," said Osmond, according to People magazine. "We welcomed Gabriel with open arms into our loving family."

The nuptials took place in a cabin in Park City, Utah, and the marriage comes after Blosil, 23, and her groom, 22, first met one year ago in Chicago.

The South Dakota-native Kruegar proposed to Blosil just days before Christmas on the Santa Monica Pier on Dec. 15, according to People.

"I absolutely love Gabriel," Osmond gushed, according the magazine. "And couldn't be more excited for the two of them to start a wonderful life together!"

Blosil is one of Osmond's eight children.

The happy wedding news arrives a little over a year after Osmond was rushed to the hospital for throat problems. The singer needed drastic treatment after being diagnosed with a severe case of bronchitis in Oct. 2011.

Meanwhile, Osmond and her famous brother Donny continue to deliver live performances, and the 53-year-old singer recently opened up about aging in the music industry.

"I feel blessed," Osmond wrote in an opinion piece found in The Guardian last week. "I am a woman who has been able to work in the entertainment business for five decades. I don't want to age, but I would never take back a year for the wisdom I've gained in that time."

A member of The Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints, Osmond was reportedly in talks with The Hallmark Channel for a "life-style oriented" television series. Osmond and her brother Donny starred in their own variety show at the Flamingo Las Vegas for four years, but duo's contract ran out in October. The Hallmark Channel series would not be Osmond's first time on television. In 1976, she and her brother hosted their own television series "Donny & Marie."
