Marilyn Manson reportedly fell ill during a concert in Canada on Wednesday.

The 44-year-old performer was in the middle of the song "Beautiful People" when he collapsed on stage in Saskatoon, Canada, according to New York Daily News.

Furthermore, other reports indicated that Manson also vomited on stage before collapsing just as the concert was cut short.

Onstage, Manson's live band continued to play the remainder of the song after the singer had keeled over, according to TMZ.

Stagehands rushed to help the "Sweet Dreams" singer and eventually escorted him off stage.

Known for his intense and out-of-the-norm shows, some Manson fans believe the singer's collapse may have been part of a more theatrical performance.

"Still confused," wrote a Twitter user who attended the concert, according to the NY Post. "MM collapsed after an hour onstage… Looked like EMT's were there after."

Another Twitter user posted, "Wow good way for a concert to end. Manson falls down, pukes, then gets dragged off stage. #SayNoToDrugsPeople"

Today, new reports claim that Manson was indeed sick and suffering from the flu, according to TMZ.

The "drained" singer did not call off the concert in time, and subsequently, was taken back to his hotel room to rest following Wednesday's performance. Manson is scheduled to appear in Calgary for another performance Friday night.

Born Brian Hugh Warner, the singer has often used props such as a knife-shaped microphone, fake blood, and occult costumes during performances.

Some of Manson's best known songs include "Heart-Shaped Glasses," "The Dope Show," and "mOCSCENE," among many others.

Meanwhile, Manson's fans are posting concerns and get-well messages to the singer via Twitter on Thursday.

"Thank goodness," wrote Kayla. "I hope #MarilynManson is ok though!"

Ryan wrote, "Watching the video of Marilyn manson collapse on stage during 'beautiful people' is just sad."
