'Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign' To Come On Consoles By Year End
For the first time, D3 Go and WayForward Games will be launching the mobile game "Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign" to consoles. Marvel Entertainment and D3 Go! have announced that "Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign" will be available soon for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 later this year.
The match – 3 game is now available only on Android, iOS and Facebook, Dark Reign and is a free-to-play title that has micro-transactions to start trading and opening up.
Here is the official description from Marvel & D3 Go: "Players will assemble a squad of three characters with upgradable abilities, choosing from a roster of heroes and villains alike, all to combat a common enemy. With this team-based gameplay comes a new level of strategy and customization, allowing audiences to call upon specific heroes that are best suited for the job and to create an ultimate Marvel dream team as they travel across famous locations and visit familiar faces from the Marvel Universe."

The mobile game has almost everyone in the Marvel Universe with more than 80 playable characters in the existing versions. We do not know as yet how many characters from the mobile version will be included in the DLC, but the usual suspects that you will come across are Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine, Hawkeye, Venom, Doctor Doom, Magneto, and The Hood.
We will just have to wait for the DLC pack to arrive and then count how many of them are available to play on your consoles.
Players already playing on their mobiles will have to start over from the beginning on the consoles. This might be somewhat a downer for many. But when the DLC pack releases with a multiplayer facility, gamers will be able to play against their friends online.
The good news for players of the mobile version is that there is a sale until Oct. 11. You can easily shore up on Iso-8 and Hero Points as they will be discounted 30%.
