Marvel's 'Agent Carter' Season 1, Episode 1 First Sneak Peek Revealed

Marvel's most awaited new crime-fighting drama offering "Agent Carter" season 1 is still a few weeks away before it kicks off its premiere episode. However, to fully satiate the eagerly-awaiting fans, Marvel released yet another sneak peek video over the weekend.

The clip features Peggy (Hayley Atwell) tidying things up at home and getting ready for business when roommate Colleen (Ashley Hinshaw) arrives from work, looking kind of exhausted.

As revealed, Colleen's boss fired 10 women workers in her office leaving her hands full of their remaining tasks. Peggy, who looks like trying to facilitate the conversation evenly, asked her housemate what forced her boss to fire them.

"Because 10 more G.I.s got discharged," Colleen explained. "I had to show a guy from Canarsie how to use a rivet gun."

From the looks of it, it seems like the return of men from war has greatly affected the labor force at that time. This is particularly the women who got displaced by the men.

Agent Carter then proceeded to return a shirt she borrowed. Colleen, on the other hand, offered the garment for her to keep.

"It looks better on you. That kind of thing might really catch a man's eye, say, on a date," she says.

But it seems like the show's heroine is interested in anything except dating. Colleen pushes the idea anyway.

Their conversation ended with Peggy bidding the former to get some rest. Colleen, meanwhile reminded her about their movie date on Saturday, which Peggy sounded so unsure to commit with.

Aside from Atwell and Hinshaw, "Agent Carter" Season 1 will also feature the acts of Chad Michael Murray as SSR Agent Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj as Agent Daniel Sousa, James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, and Shea Whigham as SSR Chief Roger Dooley.

"Marvel's Agent Carter" is set to premiere Jan. 6, 2015 on ABC.
