Agents of SHIELD Season 2 Premiere Live Stream, ABC Start Time, Spoilers: New Season and 'Fugitives With Limited Resources'

ABC's action/adventure and superhero drama TV series ''Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is now coming back for its brand new second season with premiere episode entitled "Shadows" on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, at 9 p.m.

"Coulson and his team are now wanted fugitives with limited resources--but that's not stopping them from keeping the world safe from powerful and unseen threats everywhere. However, with new members they hardly know, will S.H.I.E.L.D. ever be trusted again?" the official synopsis states.

Hypable revealed some of their speculations of the show. Starting with the brief appearance of Hayley Atwell's Margaret "Peggy" Carter who, after having called by Howard Stark, was found out to be the co-head of the newly created S.H.I.E.L.D. She would later become the inspiration in the rebuilding of the currently on-the-run team.

As suggested, her guest starring on the show will also tie in with the purported "Agent Carter" spinoff that is said to be released this winter.

Other stars who are reported to appear on the show include Lucy Lawless, Adrianne Palicki, Kyle MacLachlan, and Patrick Wade.

The premiere episode itself will have the audience take a look at Agent Coulson's (Clark Gregg) SHIELD going dark in terms of "attitude, ideology, and imagery."

"Coulson's edges are sharper, the team dwells in deeper shadows. The challenges they face bite deep, and draw blood. Though the team is holed up at a base called "the Playground," Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 1 makes it clear – playtime is over," the site went on to say.

Season 2's second episode is also coming by the end of September. It is entitled "Heavy is the Head."

"Hunted and running out of solutions, Coulson puts his team right in the line of fire in the hopes of saving them all. But with General Talbot, Hydra and Creel all on the attack, can they possibly survive? Meanwhile, a mysterious Doctor (Kyle MacLachlan) harbors some dangerous secrets that could destroy one of our core team members," the synopsis reads.
