'Mass Effect Andromeda' Gameplay and Plot Details Leaked

The much-awaited action role-playing game "Mass Effect Andromeda" is not arriving until early 2017, after it has been delayed from its original holiday 2016 release schedule. Fans of the game series "Mass Effect" are naturally looking for any information about the fourth instalment in the series. According to an IGN report, gameplay footage of the upcoming may have been leaked, something which has caused excitement among gamers online.

The report cited that the video came from a developer who was said to be working on the game. Another NeoGAF forum user also cited that the footage was two years old, from a 2014 version of the game, meaning that the game may not look like what is shown in the footage anymore.

According to another report in TechnoBuffalo, the short video shows a commander who does not look like Commander Sheppard in a fight with a group of Krogans. One of his enemies throws the commander some kind of pollen which sent the commander coughing violently. Then the footage shows the use of a jetpack, with a character jumping from one ship to another. The video then ends with an explosion of a meteorite. The report however doubted the authenticity of the video, stating that it was admittedly a video from sometime in 2014. It also noted that the gameplay in the video does not seem to show any real improvements to the game despite its new Frostbite 3 game engine.
