Watson of course won the Green Jacket in 2012, and he will be many fans' favorite to win again this year. But he already experienced a slight lapse on Saturday as he faltered in round three.

That stumble has allowed 20-year-old Spieth to pull up alongside him at five under-par, and the youngster will be dreaming of winning his first major at Augusta today.

The leading pair are just one shot clear of another debutant, Jonas Blixt of Sweden, and Matt Kuchar of the United States, who will also be dreaming of the unthinkable today.

Watson has said ahead of the final day of play: "We are all going to be nervous. We all know what it means to our career, for our status to move forward in the game. It's going to be tough for everybody, not just guys that have never won one."

Speaking of the higher pressure on his younger rivals, Watson added, "If I play bad, I still have a Green Jacket, so that's the positive I have to go for."

Larry Mize will tee off first at 10.10 a.m. ET (3.10 p.m. BST), and pairs will continue off every 10 minutes until Jordan Spieth and Bubba Watson tee off at 2.40 p.m. ET (7.40 p.m. BST).

History is on their side, as 19 of the last 23 Masters winners have come out of the final group to get started on the last day. However, critics will point out that none have come out from the final group over the past three years.
