Meagan Good Talks Being Comfortable With Her Sexuality Amid Fashion Criticism

Meagan Good, the Christian actress, did not hesitate to defend her beliefs when questioned about her fashion choices on The Tom Joyner morning show recently.

Good, 32, called into The Tom Joyner radio show to promote the Zondervan audio release of the "NIV Live Audio Bible Experience." However, comedian J. Anthony Brown made sure to question Good about her skin baring clothing that has made headlines as a preacher's wife married to minister DeVon Franklin.

After Brown questioned if God told her to wear some of her more revealing outfits, Good explained her position on the matter.

"In my personal heart, I'm not convicted about being comfortable with myself and being comfortable with my sexuality," she said.

The actress spoke about the possibility of being unfairly scrutinized as a preacher's wife and well known entertainer.

"I think you can, but at the end of the day I'm just a full believer you just got to check with God and know what your personal convictions are and know the word of God and outside of that people are going to judge you," she told The Tom Joyner Morning Show.

Good came under fire last June when she presented the BET "Best Gospel Artist" award in a revealing blue dress with a plunging neckline. The Christian actress' wardrobe caused a number of people to take to social media networks like Twitter to question the actress who has been vocal about her faith in numerous interviews.

However, Good revealed that she is not the stereotypical minister's wife that people expect her to be.

"I was shocked that people cared so much. I guess it's because I'm married to a minister," Good said in an interview with VLAD TV earlier this year of her outfit choices. "Some people feel like I should wear a turtleneck or something but that's not who I am. If that's not what God tells me to do then I'm not going to do that to make other people comfortable."
