Despite the Dolphins losing three straight games they should be confident coming into this game. Miami managed to win both games against the Bills last season, easily outscoring them 65-31 over the double header. The fact that they are on the road should not bother the Dolphins too much as they have won three of their last four games at Buffalo. However, they will have to clear their minds of a horrendous performance last week when they were routed by the Tennessee Titans 37-3.

Meanwhile the Bills also need to shake off their recent form, as they have also lost three games straight coming into this match up, as well as losing five of their last six games.

The Bills will be without running back Fred Jackson and that could hit their rushing hard. Jackson recorded 80 yards for two touchdowns, as well as taking four passes for 35 yards against the New England Patriots last Sunday. However, he suffered an injury late in the fourth quarter and will be out, making way for C.J. Spiller to take a more central role in tonight's game.

So far this season Spiller has carried 87 for 632 yards, an impressive average of 7.3 yards per carry, which is the highest in the NFL currently. That has allowed him to score four touchdowns so far this season.

Meanwhile the Dolphins players will have one simple task to try and complete as a first mark in this game - scoring a touchdown. Miami have not scored a touchdown in six quarters now and the longer that goes on for the longer their losing streak is likely to continue.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill will also be looking for improvements in his performance having thrown three picks on Sunday. He ranks 29th in the league in passer rating with a 73.2.
