On the other hand, the Heat are re-establishing their place among the elite in the Eastern Conference and are hoping to continue their form throughout the season.

At the moment, the Wolves are at 4-6 to hold fourth place in the Northwest Division. However, they are only 1.5 games behind the leaders, the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Meanwhile, the Heat are second in the Southeast Division with a 6-3 record and are only half a game behind the leaders, the Atlanta Hawks.

Miami are on a three-game winning streak with victories over the Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz.

Big men Hassan Whiteside and Chris Bosh have been carrying a lot of the load for the team but it does not seem that they are wilting under the pressure. Justise Winslow is still slowly translating his game to the NBA but the future looks good for the rookie as he plays under the guidance of Dwyane Wade.

On the other hand, the young core of the Wolves have lost four straight games and are trying to snap that losing streak.

Another loss to the Heat will surely weaken their attempts to catch the leaders out in the West but with Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns on the floor, youth and passion may help them get by.

In their first meeting, the Heat won 96-84 thanks to Wade's 25 points and five rebounds.

For Minnesota, Shabazz Muhammad led the team with 14 points and six rebounds but only had one assist in the contest.
