Already troubled with injuries, the Heat were still able to get a much-needed victory as they continue to secure their place in the playoffs. They are currently seventh in the Eastern Conference with a 34-39 record and are 1.5 wins ahead of the Brooklyn Nets.

Meanwhile, the Spurs are on a roll after winning three straight games. They have also won six of their last seven with only a 101-94 loss to the Dallas Mavericks as the blemish in that run.

Their latest win came against a tough Memphis Grizzlies team, with five players scoring in double digits for the Spurs. In the 103-89 victory, Memphis could not find an answer for Kahwi Leonard, who scred 25 points and drained 11-of-17 from the field. Tony Parker had another consistent game with 17 points and dished out six assists while only committing one turnover.

San Antonio are now 47-26, which is good enough for sixth in the Western Conference. They are 1.5 games behind the Los Angeles Clippers but 2.5 ahead of the Dallas Mavericks.
