Miami Heat vs San Antonio Spurs takes place in the NBA Finals 2013 Game 2 on Sunday night with the Heat looking to come back following their surprise defeat at home in Game 2. They will be in front of their Miami home fans again tonight, and will know how vital it is they win to ensure they do not have to travel to San Antonio for Game 3 two games behind.
The game is scheduled to tip off at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
LeBron James had a tough time in Game 1 against a Spurs defense that was efficient in upsetting him and the rest of the Heat offense. San Antonio did a great job at keeping the Heat out, and kept them to just 88 points for the game. They will be looking to put on a similar display tonight and if they can keep Miami to under 90 points they will be in with a good shot at taking a 2-0 lead.
But despite the Spurs' win in Game 1 they will realize it would be dangerous to get carried away, and most are expecting a Heat fight back. There's no way that the Heat will give up their title without fighting the series all the way, and this series is certainly still very young with a number of twists and turns expected still to come.
In Game 1, James managed a triple double with 18 points, 18 boards and 10 assists, but on the whole he was not in his best shooting game; only managing one three pointer in five attempts.
It is worth noting at this point before the Miami Heat doubters get too carried away – for the past two seasons the team that lost Game 1 went on to win the title. The Heat will be hoping history repeats again this year.
