Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato are expecting their first child, the singer revealed via a YouTube video. The Canadian crooner, 37, and his 25-year-old wife, an Argentine actress and model, let the secret spill Thursday on her official YouTube Channel.
Michael Bublé and his wife showed their anticipation for their soon-coming child by posting a sonogram over Buble's 2009 hit "Haven't Met You Yet." When the video for the song was first made, Lopilato starred as the Grammy award-winning singer's love interest, but this time, the focus was on the couple's baby.
"Mike, LU and … Mini Buble!!!" the caption on the video read. "We're having a baby Bublé!"
A representative for the couple confirmed the couple's pregnancy.
Bublé and Lopilato first met in November 2008 at a concert afterparty. His record company threw the party after one of his shows. By 2009, the couple had announced their engagement, and on March 31, 2011, they were married.
Bublé revealed that he was eager to have children of his own because of the influence his parents had on him.
"My mom and dad, I know that they loved us a ton, and the time went by so quickly for them, and that just means a lot to me," he said while playing the USA Game in December. "I can't wait to have kids of my own so I can give them what my parents gave to us."
He admitted that he wanted to wait until Lopilato felt she was "ready," though.
"I've said to [Luisana] a million times I'd love to have kids," he told ET Canada last year. "But I always say to her when you're ready- when you've lived and you've partied and done all the things you want to do. When you've worked your butt off, then tell me."
Apparently, the time has come. No details have been released as to when Lopilato is expecting to have the baby.
