Michael J. Fox has made it clear he does not want Taylor Swift dating his son Sam. Fox had a strong reaction to jokes made by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler at the Golden Globes this weekend and warned Swift to "just back off."

The whole ordeal began this weekend, when Fey jokingly told Swift to "stay away from Michael J. Fox's son."

"Or go for it," co-host Poehler said.

"No, she needs some 'me' time to learn about herself," Fey concluded, ending the joke.

But the press refused to let the joke die, given Swift's notorious dating record, and spoke to Fox directly to get his take on the situation.

"I don't keep up with it all, but Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with right?" Fox questioned Vulture reporters. "I wouldn't even know who she was," he responded when asked what he would do if Sam brought her home for dinner.

Swift does have a reputation for dating high-profile men, ending the relationship, and turning it into a hit single. Her latest hit, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" is about an ex-boyfriend, though Swift has refused to comment on which one, exactly.

"Writing 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' was one of the most hilarious experiences I have ever had in the studio because it just happened so naturally," Swift told Perez Hilton. "This guy walks in who is a friend of my ex's and starts talking about how he's heard we're going to get back together, and that was not the case."

"When he leaves, Max and Johan are like, 'so what's the story behind that?' And so I start telling them the story of break up, get back together, break up, get back together, just, ugh, the worst. Max says, 'this is what we're writing. We're writing this song,' and I picked up the guitar and just started singing, 'we are never.' It just happened so fast. It was so much fun," Swift said.
