Michael Jackson's former body guard has launched a legal bid to prove that he is the biological father of the late singer's son Blanket, and is demanding visitation rights.

Matt Fiddes, who is a British martial arts and fitness trainer, once worked for Jackson in the U.K. and claims to have provided him with a sperm donation while they were in a London hotel just one year before Blanket, birth name Prince Michael Jackson II, was born in 2002, according to the Daily Star.

"I am going to lodge my DNA and formally ask the Jacksons for access. I want visitation rights," Fiddes told the Daily Star.

"Michael is their father and I do not want that to change, but I want the children back in my life. The only way that's going to happen is through legal action. I think Blanket is mine but I want final proof," he added.

The 32-year-old will travel to Los Angeles where he is expected to file court papers to initiate the DNA process, which could grant him visitation access to his alleged 10-year-old son.

Fiddes claims that Jackson had expressed his desire to have an "athletic" child and although he offered him over half a million dollars for sperm, Fiddes gave it to him for free.

In 2002, Fiddes flew to Berlin to comfort Jackson after his infamous baby dangling incident which involved a then 9-month-old Blanket, and the pair discussed his paternity.

"I sat there and asked the question: 'Is Blanket my child?' He said: 'He's my child, Matt, but I used your sperm to produce him,'" Fiddes said.

Fiddes accuses Jackson's 81-year-old mother Katherine of denying him access to Blanket out of fear that he may simply be attempting to take advantage.

"Katherine's worried we will come after the estate and will tell the kids the truth. But to me the truth is the big issue, and that's why I want to take it further. I'm a self-made man, I don't want or need their money," Fiddes insisted.

"All I want is access if he's my child, to take him out, and spend some time together. My mum is dying of cancer. I want her to see Blanket more than anything," he added.

Jackson, who had three children, also legally fathered Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. (Prince) who was born Feb. 13, 1997, and Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, who was born a year later on April 3, 1998.
