Michael Schumacher Health Update: Manager Says Reports of Being Able To Walk Are False

Ever since news surfaced that Michael Schumacher met an accident while on a skiing venture, numerous reports have claimed that they have knowledge of how the famous F1 racer is faring.

Just recently a German news outlet, Bunte, reported that the retired racer is now "very thin" and is somehow "able to walk." The outlet claimed that the information it was able to obtain came from a source who happens to know of the former racer's condition.

The report further explained that the 46-year-old is now able to raise his arm, meaning he can respond to some instructions from his therapist.

For the most part, many would believe that Schumacher may have lost a lot of weight in the process of recovery but him being able to walk is something that a lot of critics doubted.

Also, Sabine Kehm, the seven-time world champion's manager, immediately slammed the said report, calling the information "irresponsible." According to The International Business Times, Kehm said the report is all but giving "false hopes to many people involved."

This is especially true to Schumacher's friends, family, and the millions of people who cheered the former world champ on each time he got into the race or waved his arm in victory.

Kehm, who has served as the family's spokesperson for the past years, reportedly said in an interview that fans shouldn't believe the rumors since at this point in the racer's life and his family's, privacy is the most important thing to note.

Some fans, probably very excited to hear of any news about their racing icon's recovery, took to social media and expressed their dismay over the family's decision to keep Schumacher's condition away from the public.

It has been two years since the former Formula One racer met his skiing accident and acquired serious injuries. Since then, there has been little or no official update given by either Kehm or the family.

For now, his fans can just rely on the latest official report that he is going through a long journey of extensive rehabilitation for his recovery.
