Michael Schumacher's Mercedes E 55 AMG Wagon Put Up for Sale

Michael Schumacher's family has put the F1 legend's Mercedes E 55 AMG wagon for sale with a $130,000 price tag.

The Mercedes wagon was first owned by Schumacher in 1998 and registered in Switzerland. The car is for sale in Berlin, and according to its records, it has 123,000 miles, air-conditioning, a 349-horsepower V8 engine, side airbags, a sliding roof, heated front seats and more. Could the family be selling one of Schumi's cars to fund his expensive treatment?

Michael Schumacher's car is being sold by a CTS car dealership in Berlin, Germany, Express noted. More information on Schumacher's gray 1998 Mercedes E55 AMG wagon can be found on its listing online. According to the outlet, Schumacher's family is spending aroung $151,000 a week to continue the 24/7 medical treatment in the family's Geneva mansion.

Michael Schumacher Latest Health Update
Ever since Schumacher's tragic skiing accident last Dec. 29, 2013, many fans have been seeking for racer's latest health condition. Schumacher's tragic accident involved a serious head injury which he had to undergo a medically induced coma for. According to Vine Report, Schumi was then moved to his home in Switzerland to be cared for by a team of medical experts for his recovery.

News about Schumacher's health has been scarce as the family has ordered a media blackout to protect their privacies. Schumi's manager, Sabine Kehm, has been the only reliable source of news with regard to the F1 champion's recovery.

Sabine Kehm Addresses Michael Schumacher Health Rumors
Several rumors have circulated on the net that claimed Schumacher has made significant recovery and can walk again, HNGN reported. However, Kehm corrected this through her statement, saying that patience and support will be needed regarding Schumacher and his condition.

Kehm was also reported to be saying at an event to launch Schumacher's charity football match that she cannot comment or disclose any news about the F1 racer. She added that Schumi's family asks for continued patience and respect so they can have their privacy and said that the "private situation" in Schumacher's family has not been easy. Furthermore, the family hopes that fans and followers will be more understanding of the situation.
