First Lady Michelle Obama has drawn attention over her high price tag wardrobe during a Hawaii vacation that some estimate, has cost up to $4 million.

Although she has been described as a fashion icon and Vanity Fair nominated her in 2007 as one of "10 of the World's Best Dressed People,” she has also voiced her stance for working class Americans. For some, an expensive wardrobe contradicts this view.
Several users on GOP USA caught on with an "Animal Farm" analogy quoting, “all animals are created equal but some animals are more equal than others.”
“All predicted in George Orwell’s 'Animal Farm' about socialism/communism. The pigs said the milk must be reserved for them because their leadership efforts must be nourished,” said user begneli2011.
The First Lady was photographed Christmas Day wearing a dress by designer Sophie Theallet that was estimated to cost around $2,000. She also appeared in a skirt, while in Hawaii, that was estimated at around $950.
The Obamas then proceeded to a dinner at Alan Wong’s Restaurant, an upscale eatery that specializes in Hawaiian Regional Cuisine where they ordered meals ranging from $75-$105 per person.

However, many still aren’t convinced that Michelle Obama’s outfits were as lavish as they appeared.
“Many designers will give clothes to people in the public eye…Knowing that the Obamas would be photographed often, it’s the perfect opportunity for designers to make a move,” the user JD posted on ABC News.
Others substantiated that Michelle Obama had a successful career that could afford such clothes long before she became the First Lady.
