Michelle Obama Kaepernick Photo Goes Viral as First Lady Joins Kaepernicking Craze (PHOTO)

Michelle Obama and Colin Kaepernick met one another at a school fitness event in Chicago, Illinois this week, and photos of the pair Kaepernicking together have since gone viral.

The First Lady and the NFL star spoke to students at the school about exercising and making sure they eat healthily, however, the highlight for most came when Michelle posed in the now-famous "Kaepernicking" pose – made famous by the football star with hundreds of Kaepernicking memes being created by fans last year.

The popularity of the San Francisco 49ers quarterback's Kaepernicking is so great that the football star has even trademarked the move last year.

Kaepernick replaced Alex Smith last year for the 49ers and shortly after gained some criticism for his heavily tattooed arms. However, in response to the criticism, Kaepernick started flexing his biceps and kissing his tattoos after touchdowns. The move was subsequently copied in various Internet memes last season.

Speaking to his fans about his meeting with Michelle Obama, Kaepernick took to his social media page on Twitter and tweeted: "I got the opportunity to meet one of the greatest women in the world, the first lady @first_Obama and even got her #Kaepernicking."

The quarterback has become loved by football fans in San Francisco after setting an NFL record for most rushing yards (181 yards) by a quarterback in a game (playoffs or regular season) in his first playoff game.

After beating the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship 28-24, he led the 49ers to their first Super Bowl since 1994.
