Michelle Rodriguez is the latest celebrity to sound off on her sadness surrounding the tragic death of actor Paul Walker this week.

The actress co-starred with Walker in the "The Fast & Furious" movies and took to social media following his sudden death on Sunday.

Two days after Walker was killed in a car accident in Los Angeles, Rodriguez opened up about her struggle to carry on.

"I'm gonna carry this torch for you brother, with a forced smile on my face and Im gonna open my heart just cause your telling me to," Rodriguez posted to Twitter on Monday.

The star joins countless other celebrities who were shocked and saddened by Walker's death. The 20-year-old actor and fellow car-enthusiast Roger Rodas died Saturday when Rodas' 2005 Porsche Carrera GT hit a light pole and tress and burst into flames.

Authorities insist that while speed was a factor in the crash, the pair were not participating in a street race, contrary to reports this week.

Amongst other mourners were Walker's other "Fast & Furious" co-stars, including Vin Diesel and Tyrese Gibson, the latter of whom appeared on the crash site in tears over the weekend.

Jordana Brewster, who plays Walker's love interest in "Fast & Furious," also released a statement describing the actor's death as "heartbreaking."

"Paul was an enormous presence in my life for the past 14 years," she said. "While many would be satisfied with material success, it made Paul more convinced of the need to help others. He never spoke of his immense generosity or philanthropic endeavors unless I prodded, however. This is what made Paul Paul."

Brewster went on to reflect on Walker as a man of "integrity, humanity and humility" and even mentioned the daughter he left behind, Meadow.

"I don't know anyone who lived each moment more fully and loved life more than Paul, making his loss all the more heartbreaking," she concluded.

Initially, Brewster posted her shock to Twitter.

"Paul was pure light," she wrote. "I cannot believe he is gone."
