Michelle Williams seems to be handling being made fun of on Twitter gracefully.

Williams, the 33-year-old former Destiny's child member, became a trending topic on the social media network when people created the phrase "#poormichelle." With the hashtag came a plethora of people who remembered moments when group members Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland seemed to treat Williams in an inferior manner.

After a number of people uploaded images of Williams and her former group members in different scenarios with the intention of joking about the singer, she took the jokes in stride.

"#PoorMichelle that's not what my accountant said," the Christian singer tweeted. "Y'all be blessed now."

She followed up by writing "for every action, there's a graceful reaction."

In a recent interview with The Huffington Post, Williams spoke about advising her 25-year-old self about being ok with not fitting in.

"It's OK to be yourself. It's OK to be odd. It's OK to not fit in," Williams told the publication. "If there is something different about you, embrace that."

Still, Williams admitted that she is working on not paying so much attention to the opinions of others.

"My album is titled 'Journey To Freedom,' and one of the things I want to get free from is -- and I'm getting better at it -- the opinions of other people," Williams told The Huffington Post. "You want people to like your music, you want people to like what you said in the interview, you want people to like everything. You don't want them to have negative or bad opinions of you."

Williams had a successful stint on Broadway after singing with Destiny's Child and is currently preparing her upcoming solo album "Journey To Freedom" while representing the Playtex brand. However, the singer previously revealed that she was not always so happy when looking at her own reflection.

"I'm happy. When I tell you I actually like who I see in the mirror, because for a long time it wasn't like that," Williams said in a previous HipHollywood.com report.
