Microsoft and Nintendo E3 2017 Plans: More Games and Titles To Be Announced

As practiced in previous years, the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017 is expected to feature big-name exhibitors from the gaming industry. For the first time, however, gaming enthusiasts and fans can witness these panels firsthand since E3 2017 is officially open to the public.

Two of the biggest names that are going to attend the event are Microsoft as well as Japanese gaming company Nintendo.

Both companies recently teased their plans for E3 2017. Microsoft, as most fans know, is expected to announce more details about its Project Scorpio.

However, a new tweet from Xbox boss Phil Spencer hints that the company might be announcing upcoming games from Microsoft.

"I want to give our games more time on stage at E3. I sometimes feel like we rush telling the story of our games at E3," Spencer tweets.

Gaming enthusiasts already speculate that these would include details and announcements about "Crackdown" and Forza Motorsports 7." Aside from that, it is expected that Microsoft will also unveil titles from third-party providers and indie developer-partners.

The main star, however, is still the Xbox Project Scorpio, and the company already announced that they will hold a keynote event on June 11, before the E3 2017 event commences.

As for Japanese company Nintendo, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime announced during an interview with Fox News that it also has big plans for the E3 2017 event.

"I can tell you that E3 is going to be a major opportunity for us to showcase not only Nintendo Switch, but also content coming to Nintendo 3DS," he shared.

This means that like Microsoft, Nintendo may announce several new games that they have planned for the years to come. "We're gonna have a big E3 this year. We're going to be showcasing a variety of games," Fils-Aime told Fox News.

E3 2017 will be held on June 13 to 15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
