Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher Engaged? 'It Just Happened'

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher reportedly got engaged over the summer, however they do not have any desire to publicize it.

The Hollywood couple, who began dating in 2012, is said to be eager to get married and have children now that Kutcher's divorce from actress Demi Moore is finalized. In September Kunis, 30, debuted a gold ring on her wedding finger which fueled engagement speculation and insiders claim the actress wants nothing more than to start a family with Kutcher, 35.

"They want babies, so they see no reason to wait. They kind of got engaged casually before his divorce was finalized," a source told OK! Magazine.

"It just happened. They were going to make it official after the divorce went through — though they don't really see the need to issue a press statement about it," the source explained.

In December, just days after Kutcher's divorce was finalized, the "Jupiter Ascending" actress was spotted wearing the same gold ring on her left hand ahead of her brother Michael's wedding in Florida. The couple once starred alongside one another in the hit TV sitcom "That '70s Show" and a source claims that working together helped them establish a solid foundation for their relationship.

"Ashton and Mila are progressing quickly because [since they were already longtime friends] they skipped over a lot of the steps couples usually go through," the source explained. "They already know every single thing there is to know about the other person. The pressure was off."

Kutcher, who was married to Moore, 51, for six years, reportedly proposed to Kunis around her birthday in August.

"It happened over the summer. His whole family had come out to California for Mila's birthday [on Aug. 14], and he did it then," a source told InTouch magazine about an alleged proposal.

The "Ted" actress previously hinted that she is ready to settle down with the actor and start a family.

"I do want a family ... I'd rather be in love and have a baby than a movie," Kunis told Glamour Magazine in 2012.
