Miley Cyrus and her fiancé Liam Hemsworth are reportedly already in discussions about having children, it has been revealed.

Hemsworth, 22, proposed to Cyrus, 19, in May and reports of their alleged baby talk has led to speculation that the former Disney star may already be pregnant with the couple's first child.

"Miley and Liam really want to have a baby quickly," a Cyrus family source told Us Weekly Magazine.

"They are both mature and ready for this, Miley is 19 going on 40," a source added.

The young couple, who have been dating for two years, stunned fans when they announced their sudden engagement and many critics flocked to social networking site Twitter to weigh in on Cyrus' rumored pregnancy.

"Miley Cyrus wants to have a baby 'quickly'? That's usually code for 'I'm pregnant already,'" MeLuvsGaga tweeted.

"Miley Cyrus is engaged at 19? I smell a shotgun wedding and a father-daughter dance to Achey Breaky Heart," Katherine tweeted.

"Aw miley cyrus and liam hemsworth are engaged, their babies will be beautiful #gaytweet," Chiara Verdigi.

The pregnancy speculation follows reports that the couple, who met on the set of their 2010 film "The Last Song," is already having problems.

The "Party In The USA" singer was recently spotted making her way to a pilates class in California with what some critics believe to be fresh wrist cuts on her left arm.

Cyrus has also posted a series of troubling tweets about "problems," which adds credence to the theory that her engagement is on the rocks.

"I got a lot on my mind," Cyrus tweeted on July 7.

"Happiness is not the absence of problems but the ability to deal with them," Cyrus later tweeted.

She also posted song lyrics from Canadian indie band Tegan and Sara's song "Call It Off."

"Maybe you could've been something I'd be good at," Cyrus tweeted on July 8.
