Miley Cyrus Dating Kellan Lutz? Sources Say Trip to Bahamas Was Beginning of Relationship

Despite claims to the contrary Miley Cyrus is allegedly seeing ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth's good friend, Kellen Lutz.

UsWeekly confirmed in their January 6th issue that Cyrus is indeed "hooking up" with Lutz, 28.

The two were spotted together at an airport in mid-December after they had just been on a vacation together in the Bahamas and the two initially denied being a couple.

"It doesn't hurt that he's Liam's pal," according to an insider. "But they do really enjoy each others company," added the source.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer, 21, and Lutz, who rose to stardom as Emmett Cullen in "Twilight," have been thought to be an item but have yet to make an official announcement.

Cyrus, who announced her split from actor Liam Hemsworth in September, was dressed casually in denim shorts paired with a white sweater. Lutz, 28, also opted for denim paired with a shirt. The Hollywood stars were also joined by mutual friends during their stay at Treasure Cay resort, according to Daily Mail U.K.

Cyrus and the "Hunger Games" actor began dating in 2009 after meeting on the set of "The Last Song." In 2012 Hemsworth proposed, but it was not long before they were faced with relationship troubles.

The pop star acknowledged that age played a role in their heartbreaking split, but she has no regrets.

"I don't think I realized what 19 truly is, and I got engaged at 19, and I definitely wouldn't change being engaged," she said.

"It was so fun wearing a fat rock for a few years," she continued. "But now, I just feel like I can actually be happy. I wait for those moments of silence, when I'm just at my house, by myself."
