Miley Cyrus Dumped Liam Hemsworth Over Infidelity? Sources Say Actor Strayed From Commitment

As news of the breakup between Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth spreads new rumors are emerging over what finally led the two to call off their engagement.

Sources have revealed that the 20-year-old singer reportedly came to grips with Hemsworth and "what she believed was [him being] less than faithful to her," a source told People Magazine.

There was a series of events that led to the breakup, but which were accelerated after Cyrus' VMA performance and her unfollowing of Hemsworth on Twitter.

New reports also state that Hemsworth was seen with a woman who was not Miley Cyrus while was in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Rumors are stating that the two were spotted together at the nightclub Bungalow 8 and witnesses told Radar Online that the two "left [the event] together."

There were also recent reports that Hemsworth was seen with January Jones, but a rep for the actor insisted those rumors were false.

"The story of Liam Hemsworth and January Jones is entirely fabricated by Us Weekly," Hemsworth's representative conveyed in a statement. "There is no truth whatsoever to this tabloid fiction."

The "Hunger Games" star has not spoken publicly regarding Cyrus' provacative MTV VMAs performance on Aug. 25, but reports claim he felt humiliated. While Hemsworth was not present for Cyrus' lewd performance, sources claim the former Disney star's overtly sexualized routine has added strain to their relationship.

Hemsworth and his fiancée were last seen together at the premiere of the actor's movie "Paranoia" in August.

"And every film I grow as an actor and, I think, as a person, especially when you work with these kinds of actors. It was nice to see how much they still cared about film. You know they love makings movies and that's what I love to do," Hemsworth told reporters at the premiere.
