Miley Cyrus got another tattoo, bringing the total up to 12 for the young musical star.
Miley Cyrus, the actress and singer, visited the Studio City Tattoos shop last night at around 8 p.m. looking for her latest body art. Cyrus arrived with her boyfriend of two years, Liam Hemsworth, and some friends.
Miley got the words "Love Never Dies" tattooed in small, script letters on her left bicep. Some have speculated that the words are in reference to her Australian beau, Liam Hemsworth, but there may be another reason Cyrus has those words inked on her arm.
The "Party in the USA" singer has repeatedly stated that all of her 12 tattoos have meanings. According to Daily Mail, "Love Never Dies" could reference her father's decision to abandon divorce plans last year.
If the tattoo has to do with her parents' relationship, Cyrus would be keeping the theme of family-based body art; the heart-shaped pinky tattoo she has is shared with every member of her family, though some have it on different parts of the body.
Cyrus' other tattoos have various meanings. "Just Breathe," tattooed on the left side of her rib cage, is a tribute to her friend Vanessa, who died of cystic fibrosis in 2007, and her grandfathers, who died of lung cancer.
"It reminds me not to take things for granted. I mean breathing -- that was something none of them could do, the most basic thing. And I put it near my heart, because that is where they will always be," the singer told Harper's Bazaar.
Her other tattoos -- "Love" on her right ear, a Native American dreamcatcher on her right side, and a peace sign, among others -- all seem to have a meaning associated with them.
Tattoos aren't the only changes Cyrus has made lately, however.
Miley recently cut her hair, tweeting that she "[took] 5 inches off," but that it wasn't "crazy."
