Miley Cyrus, the 20-year-old singer-songwriter and actress, is offering her friend and fellow performer Justin Bieber some advice.
Cyrus recently appeared in Elle magazine where she opened up about letting Bieber, 19, know about the importance of remembering big moments in his life. The 20-year-old entertainer recalled a night out with Bieber at an event where she questioned why he was photographing his surroundings.
''I noticed he was taking all these photos of people and doing a lot of (expletive), and I just grabbed him and said, 'Just take a snapshot in your brain of this moment so you don't forget,'" Cyrus recalled to Elle. "'I don't remember my Hannah Montana movie premiere and my 3D movie trumped everyone's at the box office. I don't remember being there."
Cyrus said it is easy for celebrities to forget their big moments, like her movie premiere.
"All I remember from that night is that I stopped and got a strawberry milkshake beforehand. That's all," Cyrus recalled. "It's crazy. You think you're in the present but you're not.''
Bieber has been receiving advice from a number of celebrities lately after spending months as the subject of controversial media headlines.
Last month Steve Harvey, the 56-year-old comedian and talk show host, took to his Twitter account to give Bieber some advice amid media scrutiny.
"Hey @justinbieber keep loving the ones that love you," Harvey tweeted to Bieber. "Cause they help make us who we are..The rest can't break what they didn't build. SH."
Will Smith, the 44-year-old actor, made it clear that Bieber, his son Jaden's friend, can always look to him for support.
"For me the most important thing was for him to know anytime he can call and I'll come whatever happens," Smith told Extra correspondent Angie Martinez at the premiere of "Free Angela And All Political Prisoners." "At that age that's what you need to know you can do what you're gonna do, but you have somewhere you can go, where you can find safety."
Chris Brown, Bieber's 23-year-old fellow singer, admitted that he had been praying for the Canadian crooner.
"I just pray for him, I pray for myself," Brown said on "The Breakfast Club" radio show earlier this year. "I think we both go through it because we're great artists. And he's a big artist to his fans and everybody around. He's like a baby Elvis."
Christina Aguilera, the 32-year-old singer, even chimed in recently to offer advice to Bieber.
"You live life and it's hard to grow up in front of a camera," Aguilera said of advice that she would give Bieber in a Hollyscoop report. "You learn as you get older to take moments for yourself, step away from the camera, re-inspire yourself as an artist, rejuvenate and refresh."
