Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Wedding Updates: 'Wrecking Ball' Singer Still Has No Plans To Get Married Anytime Soon

After confirming through an interview in 2016 that she and her on-again, off-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth are once again engaged, Miley Cyrus revealed that she still has no plans to tie the knot anytime soon.

In a recent interview with British newspaper, The Sun that was reported by The Daily Mail, the "Wrecking Ball" singer said that marriage is not part of her short-term plans.

"I don't envision marriage," the former Disney Channel star stated. "I'm 24. I hope I get to live a little bit more. I have too much living to do [before I get married]."

However, Cyrus is still wearing the Neil Lane cushion-cut diamond and 18K gold engagement ring that was given to her by her Australian fiancé when they first announced their engagement in 2012.

According to the singer-actress, she is just enjoying her relationship with Hemsworth at the moment. "I'm just riding this out. In some relationships, you lose yourself by being with someone else," Cyrus also said. "Actually, it made me find myself more."

Cyrus also claimed that she is excited to see where her relationship with the "Hunger Games" actor will take her in the coming years. "I have no idea what the next three years will bring, but if it's possible to get even happier, I'll take it."

The couple's relationship started on the set of their film "The Last Song" in 2009, yet it suffered a setback in 2013 when they announced that they will be ending their engagement. But in early 2016, rumors emerged about the possible reconciliation between the former co-stars already took place. Cyrus confirmed the rumors through an interview with "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in October of the same year.

At the moment, Cyrus is busy promoting her single "Malibu" as part of her upcoming sixth album "Younger Now" set to come out on Friday, Sept. 29. She will also go back to the coaches' chair of "The Voice" season 13 after taking a one-year break.
