Miley Cyrus Offers Sweet Message to Dying Fan (VIDEO)

Miley Cyrus delivered a special message to a dying fan, Caley Camarillo, in the final days of her battle against cystic fibrosis this week.

Cyrus, who had met Camarillo years earlier, offered her fan wishes of support, love, and prayer in a touching video that reached the 12-year-old fan just one hour before her death on Friday, June 13.

"Hey Caley, its Miley," the "Wrecking Ball" singer began. "I've been talking to your mama the past few days. I know we met a few years ago, but I want to let you know that I'm still praying for you. I'm still thinking about you. I'm sending you some love. I just want you to know that you are on my mind and in my heart, and I just wanted to send you a quick message to say hello to you."

The video was later posted by Camarillo's mother, Teresa, who explained her daughter's connection to the star.

"I just wanted to share how things go full circle," Camarillo wrote on Facebook. "Miley Cyrus was the very first celebrity that Caley was into and the very first celebrity she met … Caley's life was then sent into an amazing journey meeting a lot of wonderful people who have taken the time to get to know such an amazing soul. Back to the full circle … Miley Cyrus sent this to Caley and she was able to watch it an hour before she had passed. We have video of Caley watching the vid but that we will save for ourselves. She managed to let out a smile. I take great comfort in this for some reason."

"I also would like to share that Miley sent this video to me privately," Camarillo later noted. "It was I that decided to share it with the world. I was so deeply touched and wanted everyone to feel what I felt."

Then, on Sunday, June 15, Cyrus dedicated her performance to Camarillo.

"Tonight's show is for @MissCaley," Cyrus wrote on Twitter.
