Minnesota Vikings vs Green Bay Packers takes place on Saturday evening in the NFC Wild Card Playoff game. This will be the third time these two teams have met in the past six weeks, and so far both have won once. This game, however, will be a winner takes all to progress in the postseason. The game is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Vikings finished second in the NFC North with a record of 10-6 with an extraordinary run of four straight wins to see out the season. The last of those was the dramatic 37-34 win against the Packers on the final day of the season with a last second field goal sealing the win for the Vikings to get them through to this game.
The Packers could be made to regret not putting the Vikings away and eliminating them when they could last week. They will have to come up against Adrian Peterson two weeks straight - something no team really wants to do. Peterson demolished the Packers defense last week and was one of the main reasons for the Vikings sneaking the win.
Overall through the regular season Peterson went 2,097 yards for 12 touchdowns, which was just nine short from breaking the all time record for rushing in a season. If the Packers cannot stop him today then they could be in trouble.
In their four game winning run to see out the season, the Vikings beat some of the NFL's best teams this season. They beat the Chicago Bears 21-14, St Louis 36-22, Houston Texans 23-6 and the Green Bay Packers 37-34.
They will be very confident coming into today's game and will be hoping to knock down the Packers for the second time in two weeks.
