"MLB The Show 17" will come with an updated "Road To The Show" mode that should provide baseball fans with even more ways to customize their characters.

First off, players should know that there are even more appearance options that are now available for them to use.

Once players have finished meticulously crafting the appearance of their in-game avatar, they can now focus on actually turning this fledgling Minor Leaguer into a Major League star, and players can do that by honing the skills and acquiring new abilities for their "Road To The Show" characters.

Players need to make sure that they perform consistently well in games and in drills to earn additional points that can be used to increase the statistics of their characters. There are also bonus training periods that can be activated too, and players will want to take advantage of those.

Wearing certain pieces of equipment and even adopting specific rituals can also increase a character's statistics, so these will be things that "MLB The Show 17" players will not want to ignore.

There are also Perks available in the game that players can work on getting. These Perks can be extremely helpful as they can help a created character accomplish certain tasks inside the game better, such as smashing homeruns or just striking out batters.

Players will want to be more discerning with which Perks they use as well, as these can significantly impact which areas of the game they will excel in.

Baseball fans can try out the revamped "Road To The Show" mode inside "MLB The Show 17" as soon as the game is officially released on March 28.
