Monday Night Football Now Available on Verizon's NFL Mobile App

The NFL Mobile application for Verizon Wireless has added live streaming for Monday night football games, now allowing users on the cell phone network to view games live three days a week.

Starting with the kickoff of the 2011-2012 National Football League (NFL) season on Sept. 12, football enthusiasts will be able to watch their favorite teams play every Monday night from the palms of their hands.

Live streaming of games on Sunday and Thursdays nights is also available in the NFL Mobile package.

Fans will be able to enjoy a Monday night doubleheader on Sept. 12, featuring the New England Patriots visiting the Miami Dolphins and the Oakland Raiders visiting the Denver Broncos.

Seventeen Monday night football games will be streamed during the 2011-2012 NFL season.

The NFL mobile application is available on Verizon’s Android Market, on iTunes, by dialing **NFL or texting 8915 on a wireless phone, or by submitting a wireless number to the Verizon NFL Mobile website (http://sponsorship.verizonwireless.com/nfl/).

The NFL Mobile website also lists the Verizon Wireless devices with which NFL Mobile is compatible, including the Motorola Droid 2, the Apple iPhone 4 and the Blackberry Curve 8530.

NFL Mobile is free on all Verizon 4G LTE devices, while customers with 3G devices can access NFL mobile video amenities by subscribing to Verizon Video for $10 per month.

Live streaming of Sunday, Monday and Thursday night games are among NFL Mobile’s premium features, as well as access to NFL RedZone and NFL Network, in addition to all the basic features.

Verizon Wireless began its four-year sponsorship of NFL in March 2010, replacing Sprint as the association’s exclusive media partner.
