'Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate' October DLC Pack Highlights 12 New Quests, Five New Weapons And A Lot More

Capcom has just released the new, free downloadable content pack for its hit Nintendo 3DS game title "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate," in the month of October.

Citing the details provided over at Gamespot.com, the latest extension pack highlights the new and exciting quests, weapons, armor sets, bonus Palico, and more others.

Getting the October DLC pack is quite easy. Gamers should just make sure their Nintendo 3DS units are connected to the Internet and that they have a copy of the "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" base game. When these are all met, all they've got to do is head over to the "DLC" part of the game menu. Once accessed, they can now download all that is available for take.

For those curious about what's inside, the official CapCom website provided the details:

12 New quests (including 2 New Arena challenges);

5 New weapon;

1 New complete armor set (GX Hunter);

4 New Unique armor pieces;

1 New Palico equipment set (Melodic set);

1 Bonus Palico: Oliver;

1 Guild Card background;

8 Guild Card titles

A promo video shared by the site further offered a brief glimpse of the new arena challenges which include "Monster Fest 7" and "Challenge Quest 10."

The new regular quests are also being named in the video. Among the mentioned titled are "Bug Hunters Inc.," "Poison Pinch," "Fan Club: Ashes to Ashes," "Super Smash Monsters," A Small Mountain to Scale," just to name a few. Completing the particular "Hear No Evil, See No Evil" quest, which is a very risky one, will reward players with the material to craft the highly coveted GX Hunter armor.

All quests will be saved under the "Event Quests" and "Challenge Quests" in the Gathering Hall. G-Rank Quests and G-Rank Challenge Quests, on the other hand, can be accessed through the Elder Hall and Assembly, respectively.

New Monster Hunter players can also get all the previously released DLCs, including this one, for free.
