Most Desirable Woman: Jennifer Lawrence Tops Men's List

Jennifer Lawrence has been voted the "world's most desirable woman" by a men's website just as her latest movie was nominated for an Oscar this week.

The 22-year-old starlet appears in the film "Silver Linings Playbook" alongside Bradley Cooper. While her talent is showcased in the Oscar-nominated film, so is her beauty, according to AskMen.com.

"Jennifer Lawrence is comfortably set to become Hollywood's foremost leading lady for the next gazillion years," wrote the website. "She's kinda got everything: looks, presence, genuine acting chops, the ability to fire a mean bow and arrow."

Lawrence was propelled into stardom after portraying bow and arrow-wielding Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games" this year.

While the role launched widespread celebrity, Lawrence was faced with criticism for her curvy figure. The actress disregarded the negative feedback after realizing that she was considered heavy by Hollywood's standards.

"I'm never going to starve myself for a part," divulged the star while speaking to Elle magazine. "I don't want little girls to be like, 'Oh, I want to look like Katniss, so I'm going to skip dinner.' That's something I was really conscious of during training, when you're trying to get your body to look exactly right."

The "Winter's Bone" star noted that her goal was "to look fit and strong- not thin and underfed," in "Hunger Games."

Further proving her talent, the Academy Award-nominated actress demonstrated her singing abilities in the film "House at the End of the Street." The film featured Lawrence singing the song "All You've Got to Do is Fall in Love" by Benji Hughes.

Lawrence will appear in the sequel film to "Hunger Games" entitled "Catching Fire" next year.

Music supervisor for the film Steve Lindsey said that working in the recording studio with Lawrence was a "great day."

"Even [though] she was nervous, her humor about the situation shined through her begging for us to 'Photoshop' her voice," he revealed, according to Yahoo! Movies.
