Moto G (2015) News, Rumors: New Leaked Carrier Photo Reveals Unit's Price

With just a day left before its official unveiling, new leaks pointing towards Motorola's upcoming Moto G (2015) continue to surface online. This time around, the photo is a screengrab from a carrier's website displaying what appears to be the third-gen Moto G's pricing.

A report from GSM Arena cited an article from Droid-Life.com sharing the leaked photo taken from U.S. Cellular. Placed under SKU number 186978, the upcoming handset is quoted with a price of $179.99. The publication clarified that the amount is still without a contract.

Given this detail and if Motorola sticks to what has been reported, then it could be an awesome deal for its would-be buyers. Adding to the advantage is the fact that the third Gen unit is rumoured to come with an LTE connectivity support, which the previous model didn't have and it was sold with the same price.

For those who missed it, earlier talks indicated that the mid-range smartphone has picked up a IPx7 certification. This means that the upcoming handset is submersible into up to a meter of water for as long as 30 minutes.

Other details revealed in the previous live photos of the Moto G (2015) said that it will be hitting the market with a quad-core CPU and a microSD card slot.

The camera is also something to look forward to. The leaked photos tell of a 13MP primary snapper and a 5MP secondary camera.

As for its other specs, several media outlets concur to the reports that latest Moto G iteration will arrive to the market with a 5-inch 1280 x 720 pixel display, a 64-bit Snapdragon SoC with a 1.4GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of memory.

As expected from a new-gen mobile product, reports also said that the Moto G (2015) will come out with the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS already installed.
