Motorola boasts the Razr to be the world’s thinnest smartphone since its only 7.1 mm in thickness.

It also includes a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1 GB of LP DDR2 RAM, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display, 8-megapixel camera that captures film in 1080p HD and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera that records in 720p.

For memory, the Razr has 16 GB of build-in storage and a microSD that can hold up to 16 GB. It is compatible with Verizon’s 4G LTE Mobile Broadband networks that provide users with speeds up to 10 times faster than the carrier’s 3G network.

The smartphone launched with Gingerbread operating system and should be able to upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich once made available.

Amazon is also offering other hot deals, such as giving every customer, who buys a Hot Spot, credit to be used on the upcoming Kindle Fire tablet. Hotspot and Kindle Fire should go hand in hand since it will allow owners of the new tablet to access the Internet from virtually everywhere.

The Droid Razr stirred up quite a buzz over the past few months bringing back the name of the widely popular flip phone from a few years ago.
