The LG G3 had a 5.5-inch touchscreen with a QHD display resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Inside the handset is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with a quad-core 2.5GHz processor and an Adreno 330 GPU.

There are two variants of the handset; a 16GB with 2GB of RAM and a 32GB with 3GB of RAM. Both variants have microSD card supports of up to 128GB. It has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Moto X 2014 on the other hand has a 5.2-inch touchscreen with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The handset sports the same hardware as the G3 and also comes in two variants; the 16GB and 32GB variants both with 2GB of RAM. Unlike the G3 however, the Moto X 2014 doesn't have microSD card support capabilities.

It also has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Both handsets run on Google Android, with both coming out of the box with the Android Kitkat. Both handsets are also scheduled to get an Android Lollipop update soon.
