'Mozart in the Jungle' Season 3 Release Date and Spoilers: New Romance Expected, Cast Traveling to Europe

Amazon television drama-comedy series "Mozart in the Jungle" is set to return soon for its third season. But fans of the show will have to wait a little longer to catch more of the classical music and symphony orchestra drama. According to a report by Variety, the show's season renewal has been announced already by Amazon but what's left out is its season premiere date.

Until today, there is no word yet on when it might be back there are a number of predictions on when it will possibly air its first episode for season 3 in Amazon Prime Video. Fansided detailed in a report that the comedy series may be back on the small screen sometimes in late 2016. There's also a possibility that the waiting could be as long as early 2017.

None has been confirmed but if the previous season premiere dates are to be considered, it may be coming out this year, perhaps sometime in December. The first season of the series arrived on Dec. 23, 2014 while the second one started on Dec. 30, 2015. The next one may need the same amount of time for it to be written, produced, filmed and edited. Fans don't have to worry though because the release date of the third season is expected to be announced.

Meanwhile, followers of the show will have to appreciate tidbits of spoilers for now. In an interview of cast member Bernadette Peters with Red Carpet Reporting Hollywood's Jada Montemarano, the actress who plays as Gloria divulged that fans can expect a new romance to "brew" in the third season. The cast will also be traveling to Europe to film the third installment. Christian Examiner noted that Jason Schwartzman, one of the series' executive producers, spoke about his excitement for the next page of the musical comedy-drama show.

"We're grateful to Amazon for endowing our orchestra with another season. We can't wait to follow our characters through the vast world of music, whether performing on a subway platform or in the grand concert halls of Europe," stated Schwartzman.

Other stars in "Mozart in the Jungle" include Lola Kirke, Gael Garcia Bernal, Saffron Burrows, Mark Blum, Hannah Dunne and others.
