The Rasd News Network, which is associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, has said via its official Facebook page recently that the group "Students against the Coup in America" organized a demonstration at Wayne State University on October 21.
Rasd News presented pictures at the conference of the Brotherhood's students at the university. However, one of the pictures was of Coptic child Mariam Ashraf, 8, who was one of the victims of the massacre that took place at the church in Warraq, Giza, by Islamist jihadists.
The network used the picture of the Coptic child as one of the victims of the Muslim Brotherhood killed by Egyptian security forces.
Unidentified gunmen fired shots at Copts as they were leaving Virgin Mary Church in Warraq, Giza, after they attended a wedding ceremony.
The incident resulted in the deaths of four Copts, including the child whose picture is published by the Brotherhood, as well as injuring 17 others.
Major General Mohamed el-Sharqawi, Director of the Giza General Department for Investigation, stated that security forces had identified the perpetrators in the Warraq church incident.
He pointed out that they are takfiri elements, and they were identified by a research plan carried out by the national security and public security sectors.
Copts have been subjected to fierce attacks by Islamists since the removal of President Mohamed Morsi on July 3 and the breaking-up of the Muslim Brotherhood's sit-ins in Rabaa el-Adaweya and Nahda squares on August 14.
The attacks resulted in burning of 82 churches, of which 32 churches were completely destroyed, in addition to looting and torching a large number of homes and shops owned by Copts in various Egyptian governorates.
