Mylie Cyrus Talks Hard Working Lifestyle: 'I am A Workhorse'

Miley Cyrus was all over the headlines for her proactive costume and dancing at the MTV Video Music Awards last week. While it seemed like all anyone could talk about was how inappropriate Miley's performance was, it cannot be denied that she has produced a large body of work at a young age.

Miley Cyrus recently sat down for an interview with U.K. publication The Mirror for an interview, in which she discussed and how hard she works at honing her art.

"All I do is work … People are impressed with me because I can sleep for just 45 minutes – I'm used to it. I suppose I am a workhorse. I love being in the studio and when I take vacation I get so bored. I think of work as something I have to do. I've made a record so I have to promote it so I have to work to get it done – and then pass out," she said.

The work Cyrus is referring to is most likely her upcoming album Bangerz. The former-Disney star has released a total of 4 records. However, there is a definite shift in her music, and Cyrus wishes she could be separated from her earlier work.

In an interview with Billboard early in 2013, the controversial singer said, "Right now, when people go to iTunes and listen to my old music, it's so irritating to me because I can't just erase that stuff and start over. My last record I feel so disconnected from – I was 16 or 17 when I made it. When you're in your 20's, you just don't really know that person anymore."
