Not only is Escobar's death a mystery in "Narcos", but in real life, the real killer remains at large. There are a lot of conjectures as to who really killed the drug lord, considering that there are a lot of groups after him.

According to a report, not only the police after Escobar, but also the Cali Cartel, Los Pepes, and numerous other drug groups which have done business with the drug kingpin. The Colombian task force and the DEA are also after him, making it really difficult to pinpoint who really killed Escobar.

Thrilling new trailer

Netflix's new trailer for "Narcos" showcased an explosive season, which will air very soon. The start of the teaser showed Escobar running away from different groups. Afterwards, the different people, groups and gangs after him were introduced. Each group wants only one thing from Escobar, and that is his head.

The true killer is yet to be announced during the final season of the Netflix series.

Everyone is excited, except for one

Fans of "Narcos" cannot wait for the next season of the show. But instead of being excited about Season 2, one person seems to be not too happy about it. According to reports, the brother of Pablo Escobar, Roberto is not pleased at all. In July, it was told that he demanded a billion dollars from Netflix.

In the past, Roberto Escobar said, a billion was what they used to earn in a good week. Reports also said that if his demands were not met, he will seek legal action against the streaming service. Escobar's brother also threatened Netflix that it will not be able to air more "Narcos" episodes if they do not negotiate with him.

Roberto Escobar also wanted to view the episodes first before these were aired. To date, Netflix has ignored his requests since "Narcos" started. He said that the show is depicting his life, his brother's life as well as their family's and no one else will be able to validate the truth behind the series but he.

Aside from all his requests, Roberto was also unhappy that a Brazilian actor was asked to play his brother, and not a Colombian.

Release date

No matter what Roberto says, Netflix will air "Narcos" Season 2 on September 2.
