'Naruto Shippuden' Episode 476 Updates, Previews and Spoiler: Finale Episode Details Revealed; Will Sasuke Still Kill Naruto?

Episode 476 of "Naruto Shippuden" is airing in just a couple of days. With this news, fans of the long-running anime are both nervous and excited. Not only will the episode be an hour long, "Naruto Shippuden" will also see its most exhilarating fight ever between rivals Naruto and Sasuke.

The Pursuit for Peace

Sasuke made his decision to kill all the five Kages who were trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi and to exterminate all the tailed beasts. This includes his only friend, Naruto. As gruesome and gritty as it may sound, Episode 476 of "Naruto Shippuden" will reveal that Sasuke aims to do these things due to his love for peace.

Similar to his brother Itachi, Sasuke's main goal is to protect Konoha. However, he is ultimately bound to follow the fate of his brother, who was treated like a traitor and a criminal, in the upcoming "Naruto Shippuden" episode. Sasuke believes that peace could never be achieved so long as the current power structure is existing. This is why he aims to get rid of the five Kages.

As for the tailed beasts, they are viewed by all nations as the ultimate weapons of war. This then includes their current Jinchuuriki, a category in which Naruto perfectly falls in. In the upcoming Episode 476 of "Naruto Shippuden", Sasuke aims to eliminate them to prevent nations from seeking the tailed beasts and possibly use them for destruction in the future.

Sasuke's Soft Spot for Sakura

With their friendship having sparked even back to the very first episode, Sasuke still cares about Sakura. In the previous episode of "Naruto Shippuden", Sasuke attacked her with a genjutsu to stun her. When Naruto confronts him about it, he just explains that it was for her own good, so she could not be harmed in their full on fight that will happen in the next episode.

This move further proves Sasuke's noble pursuit of love and peace. It shows that he still cares about Sakura enough not to involve her in the fight. However, with all the chaos about to happen in Episode 476, fans are anticipating Sasuke to finally admit his feelings toward Sakura.

Naruto, Sasuke—Friends and Rivals

Sasuke's motivations can be seen as a sum of his past experiences. However twisted they may be, in his eyes, the end still justifies all his means. This means that there is still hope for Naruto to convince Sasuke to pursue better plans.

However, if the titular protagonist fails to do so, then the fight will end with only one of them living. The long-time friendship and rivalry between the two are most likely ending with the final "Naruto Shippuden" episode.

Airing Details

The finale episode of the long-running anime series is just a day away. The Episode 476 of "Naruto Shippuden" will be airing on Thursday, September 29. It will have an hour of total running time.
