Hayden Panettiere Pregnant In 'Nashville'? Season 3 Spoilers Reveal Baby Written Into Plot Lines

Season three of Nashville will feature a pregnant Juliette Barnes, which ties in nicely with Hayden Panettiere's real-life pregnancy, according to reports.

It can be recalled that in season two, Juliette made the poor choice to cheat on her boyfriend Avery (Jonathan Jackson) when she got intimate with record label head Jeff Fordham (Oliver Hudson). According to SpoilerTV, this lapse in judgment will haunt her, and cause her numerous problems as she doesn't know who the father of her baby is.

Meanwhile, other characters are set to join the show. TVLine is reporting that Brette Taylor, who plays Bruce Wayne's ill-fated mother in FOX's "Gotham," will be joining "Nashville" season 3 third season in a major recurring role.

Taylor will play Pam, Luke's sultry, extroverted new backup dancer. According to the website, Pam is an incredibly talented musician as well, and she quickly becomes Deacon's muse, even more so when her complicated and dark past is revealed.

"Spy Kids" actress Alexa Vega is also slated to join the show in a multi-episode arc. Vega will play Kiley, Gunnar's first love and high school sweetheart who is now a struggling single mother. According to TVLine, she arrives in Nashville with the intention of providing some stability for her 10-year old son.

Tony Award winner Laura Benanti has also been cast as Sadie Stone, an up and coming artist in the country music business. Deadline reports that Sadie will befriend Rayna (Connie Britton), but will there be a real friendship, or will this be another rivalry in the making?

The third season of "Nashville" premieres Wednesday, Sept. 24 on ABC.
