Leaders from hundreds of pro-life organization across the nation will meet together later this month to “redefine reproductive health” in America at the 34th Annual Heartbeat International Conference in Chicago, IL.

Leaders from hundreds of pro-life organization across the nation will meet together later this month to “redefine reproductive health” in America.

The 34th Annual Heartbeat International Conference is scheduled for April 27-30 in Chicago, IL. Heartbeat International is a Christian association “dedicated to the purpose of establishing, developing, and supporting effective pregnancy help centers all over the world” (www.heartbeatinternational.org).

The Annual Conference offers speakers, numerous training sessions, and fellowship opportunities for pro-life leaders. The activities center around the organization’s goal- to create an environment upholding the sanctity of human life “within the womb and within strong families.”

Speakers at the event include Eve Sanchez Silver, the Executive director of Cinta Latina Research; Doug Weiss, Ph.D., who is the Executive Director of Heart to Heart Counseling Center and an author and therapist specializing in sexual abuse and trauma; Jill Stanek, an active speaker on issues such as abortion and women’s health; and Tony Melendez, who, though born without arms, taught himself to play the guitar with his feet and now inspires many with his music and testimony.

President of Heartbeat International, Peggy Hartshorn, Ph.D., will deliver the keynote speech at the opening event.

“We are redefining reproductive health care in a way that benefits the whole woman and her family,” said Hartshorn. “And we're training pregnancy center staff and volunteers to deliver these needed services effectively and professionally."
