It is for good reason, though, as the Golden State Warriors sharpshooter is breaking records and making it look like the NBA is his playground. His place in history books is guaranteed, but if he's able to keep this momentum going several years more, he might become the greatest player ever. So far though, he should be more than satisfied with the distinction of owning the best regular season ever for a player.

Starting off with how he faced and overcame adversity as a young, small, and skinny point guard who never was expected to become what he is right now.


His magical season is highlighted so many achievements as a member of the team and an individual player. Aside from winning MVP, he also led his team to 73 wins, which also is a new record. He broke his old record for the number of three-pointers made in a regular season and became the only player in history to average over 30 points a game while shooting above 50 percent, according to Fox Sports.

After finishing off the Portland Trail Blazers in five games, Curry and his Golden State Warriors are certainly not done yet. They're in the running of winning their second consecutive NBA championship. Though the 28-year old was coming off an injury when he played in Game 4, he once again showed why he's way above everyone else by scoring 17 points in the overtime period, eventually leading his team to a 132-125 win, per Bleacher Report. Now he's got his eyes on the ultimate prize -- a second NBA championship.
