The regular version of the upcoming game will meanwhile arrive with three different covers featuring the faces of Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry, Houston Rocket's James Harden, as well as New Orleans Pelicans' power forward Anthony Davis.

The game's MyCareer mode is being directed by "Malcolm X" helmer Spike Lee.

The story, according to an earlier report, will follow the path of an up-and-coming player, from playing collegiate up to his NBA career.

NBA 2K16 is slated to launch on September 29 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and on PC. Players who preorder the game will be able to get their hands on the title earlier on Sept. 25.
