NBA 2K16 release date, gameplay and features news: Sports better in-game visuals in new trailer

The latest trailer dropped by 2K Sports offers a much longer view of what fans should expect to see in the next installment of the famous basketball game.

While some reviews state that the "NBA 2K16" trailer earlier in the month had about seven seconds of the 1:16 in the entire video that showed what's inside of the game, better reviews emerged in the wake of the latest trailer.

According to Polygon, the NBA 2K series has always been proud of the replay frequency and camera angles displayed in each installment so it is only acceptable that the mentioned are the kinds of things fans will get to see in the next series to be launched next month.

The outlet also says the new trailer shows the improvements laid upon the installment, seeing that a lot more emotions and reactions are coming from the players.

Defensive interactions shown in the teaser are also a good foundation in bringing the game a step closer to the point of what NBA fans actually see in a live game.

Meanwhile, Hassan Whiteside, Miami Heat center, has expressed his excitement over the release of his NBA 2K16 rating. Starting in the past season with a rating limited in the 50s, 2K Sports has decided to give the player a boost with an 81 overall rate after he averaged 11.8 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks in 23.8 minutes.

Last January, the center trailed a triple-double against the Chicago Bulls with the statement, "I just want to get my 2K rating up." In the upcoming installment, the NBA star will see his wish come true.

Whiteside posted on Twitter over the weekend, saying "Thanks @NBA2K @Ronnie2K for making me 1 of 50 players to have a 80+ rating #2k16 #NBA2K16."

Coming on Sept. 29, NBA 2K16 will be out for PS3, PS4, Windows PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
